highlands are scottish breed generally called coo's,  the herd is  called a highland fold.  the usual color is redish brown but can be yellow, pale silver, black or bindle/dune.  these coo's are gentle, docile, and  hardy.    To view our fold click on the link below.

Our herd on the ranch consist of purebreds & grade horses. We like colorful, smooth, healthy, happy horses that   have a great personality & a willingness to please.  To view the ranch herd  click on the link below.

The ranch runs with the help of both Guardian Dogs & herd dogs. Herd dogs also known as working dogs are trained in herding livestock.  While guardian dogs are independent large intuitively guard animals.

another ranch livestock guardian is  our donkey cocoa.    he  is quite the character & will stand his ground,   think through the situation often braying loudly  approaching the threat  rather than fleeing.   He fits right in with the horses see more of him in the ranch horses link. 

This ranch like any other ranch has mice, especially come fall they try to get in the house from the cold winter weather.   our cat sadie is ready for them.  click the link below for our  favorite felines
