Purebred Brahma Chickens

The Brahma Chicken is a large bird, developed in the United States from birds imported from the Chinese port of Shanghai.  Despite their massive size and intimidating appearance they are gentle giants.  They are elegant chickens that move with grace & purpose; they will defend their flock against small predators.  Brahmas are one of the most laid back breeds there is, not a lap bird but certainly not averse to begging for treats.
